The world's first mass-produced 8-in-1 electric powertrain

Demonstrating BYD's leadership in integrating its own self-developed technologies, the ATTO 3 EVO's powertrain incorporates eight key components: driver motor, transmission, on-board charger, DC-DC controller, Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), Battery Management System (BMS), Motor Control Unit (MCU) and Power Distribution Unit (PDU). The world's first mass-produced 8-in-1 electric powertrain optimises packaging and energy efficiency.

High-efficiency heat-pump system as standard  

To ensure the ATTO 3 EVO's performance in a broad range of temperatures, the car features a highly efficient heat pump. It uses residual heat from its surroundings, the powertrain, the passenger compartment and even the batteries to maximise thermal efficiency and use less energy when heating or cooling. This increases the driving range, especially in low temperatures.

Prepare to be impressed

The BYD ATTO 3 EVO has up to 330kW maximum power and all-wheel drive – enough to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 second and reach a top speed of 200km/h. 

Longer range, faster charging

The ATTO 3 EVO features rapid DC charging of 220kW – so you can recharge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes. 
It's easy to charge up at home too, with our optional 11kW wallbox. 

Safety

Five-star safety comes as standard across the entire range, thanks to the integral strength of cell-to-body construction, seven airbags, comprehensive driver-assistance features and a high-definition 360-degree panoramic camera to help with parking.

The BYD ATTO 3 EVO features built-in Google functionality for an intelligent experience, enriching every moment you spend in the car. You can use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to link your mobile phone with the media system on the 15.6-inch touchscreen, making it easy to access supported apps like Spotify and HERE Maps.
